it’s been a couple hours since i heard the news of Steve jobs passing.  i can’t really put together a whole lot of thoughts about this because it is mesmerizing how greatly he effected our daily lives.  as i type this, i’m on a macbook pro, my iphone 3gs is sitting right next to me and i’m anxiously awaiting the pre-order of the iphone 4s.  in the room next to me there is an apple tv.  the other room holds an imac.  apple products are deeply integrated into my life, and so many others.  

just yesterday i watched the recorded keynote for the iphone 4s, and while mr. Jobs was not presenting the updated iphone, they read off a few statistics.  basically apple is #1 in everything they compete in, and by a large margin.  Steve Jobs’ attention to detail, his intense love for his company, and always ability to push (not move, push) forward has helped define how so many people live.

to mr. Jobs, a sincere thank you is in order.
